Valentine's Day Crafts
I recently found some really great Valentine's Day crafts on a new favorite blogger blog, Zakka Life. This cuter than cute snail Valentine for one...

...and a how-to for this amazingly adorable pom-pom heart.
I have become a big fan of this blog, and encourage you, if you haven't already, to check it out.

Last Paper Craft
I know, I know...you're saying "How on earth can this be the last paper craft!?" (all two of my readers, including my brother!) It's okay though, I've given you the general idea and now you can go off on your own and try to find your own way through paper craft world. This last one is a good one, or at least I think so, but then I happen to be quite fond of Domo Kun. This paper craft is unique in that it requires no glue or tape, kinda neat! I found this Domo Kun at deviantArt.com by Pikmin789.

Heart Shaped Box...

...Just happens to be one of my favorite Nirvana songs and an adorable free download (yes, yet another paper craft) from BlackPio. Great for any small Valentine's gifts you may be giving to your someone special on V-day.

Beetle paper crafts from Yamaha
Who would have thought that Yamaha would have such a great site for paper crafts! I sure didn't. But none the less that's where I found these two, an Atlas and Stag beetle. I do have quite the affinity for bugs, especially beetles, so naturally I picked these guys up as soon as I saw them. Not such a fan of bugs ? Don't worry, the Yamaha site offers plenty of cute critters, realistic looking motorcycles, and many other things to chose from.

Paper, Printer, Scissors, Glue...
No it's not a new version of Rock, Paper, Scissors, it's the rise of Paper craft! Although it's not a new phenomenon, paper crafting has seen on and off popularity since the beginning of the 20th century. I believe the current resurgence of this craft is due partly to it's afford ability in these tough economic times, and the fact that almost every home now days has an ink jet printer. Do a Google search for paper craft and you will come up with numerous blogs and websites that offer free patterns for you to download. In the past few months I have come to really love paper crafting, so for the next week I will be sharing my favorite sites and patterns for this most papery of crafts. I hope you enjoy! Click on the link below the picture to be taken to Canon's site, where I picked up this awesome download for clown fish and mini aquarium.

The Day the Music Died
Buddy Holly
1936~1959
I just wanted to pay tribute to an amazing musician who's life on the earth was far too short.
