The making of a mascot

I know that right now I probably have two readers, and one of them is my brother, but hopefully soon things will pick up...right? Anywho, regardless of my readership, I am proud to present this blog's mascot-the angry pincushion! Think about it, you'd be a little angry if people were sticking you with pins all the time... I know I would be. He doesn't have a name yet, I think Mr. Pincushion might suffice, for now anyway.

Fall is upon us again...

Fall is definitely my favorite season. The colors of fall are vivid and beautiful, the air is crisp, leaves are crunchy, and it is host to my favorite holiday-Halloween! And with that grand intro, for the next couple weeks I will be showcasing craft projects, Halloween costume ideas, and recipes for the fall holiday season! Stay tuned for more...

New beginning!

First post on a new blog, very intimidating, more intimidating than I imagined. I am somewhat inexperienced at this whole blogging thing but what the heck, I'll give it my best shot!

On this blog I am hoping to create an environment that inspires imagination and creativity, two things that are very important in my life. This will hopefully become a place where people come to get and share ideas, and inspiration. I can't wait to start posting craft and DIY projects, recipies, and many other things I haven't quite planned out yet. I will also do my best to showcase local art, and artists in Lincoln and across Nebraska. I know that it is not much to look at right now, but I'm hoping this new en devour will be sprouting it's wings soon! Stay tuned...
